RKK Group Advances Integrated Management System Certification Journey

As the company continues its IMS certification journey, it reinforces its commitment to creating a more sustainable and equitable future for all.

RKK Group, a diverse conglomerate with expertise spanning Construction, Renewable Energy, Information Technology, Agriculture, Procurement, Real Estate, Supply Chain Management & Logistics, Training & Consulting, Education, and Investment, has continued its journey toward implementing and certifying an Integrated Management System (IMS). The IMS certification, which includes ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management), marks a significant step in RKK Group’s mission to enhance operational excellence and sustainability.

The certification will bolster RKK Group’s commitment to providing affordable, sustainable, and reliable energy access to Africans, supporting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 7 and 8. These goals focus on ensuring access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all and promoting sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all.

Speaking about the certification process, Mr. Aderemi Rasheed Kilaso, the Group Chief Executive Officer of RKK Group, emphasized the importance of adhering to Good International Industry Practices (GIIP) and international standards, including ISO, to drive innovation.

He highlighted the development of the iRESS solar backpack—a multifunctional backpack equipped with a foldable solar panel, lithium phosphate battery (LifeP04), inverter system, and accessories—as a prime example of the company’s commitment to sustainable solutions.

“The iRESS solar backpack is designed to harness solar energy, provide long-lasting battery storage, and make the stored energy available to cater to the daily energy needs of diverse users,” he stated.

Mr. Kilaso further explained that this innovative product significantly contributes to the effective implementation of the SDGs by promoting clean energy access, empowering communities, fostering quality education, and driving sustainable economic growth.

During a goodwill message from the company’s stakeholders, Oyinlola Okanlawon, Registrar of the QHSES Leadership Academy—a leading, tuition-free learning platform—commended the RKK Group’s unwavering support for the Academy’s initiatives.

She particularly mentioned the Safetainability4Orphanage program, which aims to provide orphaned children with the physical and emotional support they need to thrive, thereby “Rebuilding Lives and Reassuring Futures.”

For his close to two decades uninterrupted media experiences, Aliagan with some like minds floated Time Nigeria Magazine, where he is currently serving as the Managing Editor, a Magazine that is setting Economic and political pace for the most populous country on African continent, Nigeria.
